Maybe most people in the world do not know who are the Taliban and how much powerful they are?
After this question, there are many other questions usually Afghanistan people facing to answer for themselves or others. Such as are they from Afghan? Do they have support of Afghanistan people? Are they specific ethnic or ideological group, or Taliban is the delegates of Afghanistan? Based on my experience and study from Afghanistan and its politics I will try to answer these questions.
To know about who are the Taliban and their power, we need to review Jihad against Afghanistan Communist Regime. War youths and children refugees from Afghanistan in Pakistan introduced and encouraged to participate in ISI controled Islamic fundamentalist schools in Pakistan.
After defeating of communist regime in Afghanistan and Mojahedin internal war, returned participants from Pakistan Islamic and fandementalist schools by support of their Pakistani teachers and classements changed to harsh regional militery fandementalist movement.. This group of youths used by ISI as new generation of Jehad in Afghanistan and region. They were not alone , AL-Qaeda also Pakistanis human resources made a remarkable part of them.
I was in Afghanistan among fighting between Taliban and supporters of Rabani and Masoud government. Always these were questions for people that, where are comming unlimited recurces for Taliban in a poor country like Afghanistan. Afghanistan people were watching Arabs and Pakistanes militants among Taliban. Letter after, Benazir Bhutto and Parwiz Musharraf the Pakistan government leaders took responsibility of establishment and supporting of Taliban.
We need to consider Taliban as local branch of Al-qaeda and there is enough prof for this,so Taliban like al-qaeda has their specific interpretation from Islam, which is full of violence.People inside and out side of Afghanistan thinking that, Pashtun's are Talib, but I can say that, all of the Pashtuns are not Taliban but most off ( almost all of) Taliban are Pashtunes. Byond their ethical interpretation from Islam, still they have aims and programs more than their ethical aspects based on joint AL-Qaeda and Taliban believe. This is why they pay, to rent Islamists from other part of Afghanistan and middle Asian countries especially Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
This is why, Taliban is using by ISI for having regional influence and so, Taliban is not the group to just be limited in Afghanistan.According to their fundamentalist and extremist ideology, they are threat to all over the world especially democratic countries. For sure it is the women, children and people of Afghanistan to be affected first, but fandementalism and it's negative aspects are traveling over all the world, which any time it is possible any body be one of the victims.This is why, I think it is every body responsibility in every where to STOP TALIBAN movement against human being. You can do it, through your speech in community, social media and supporting of democratic movements.
